My Life
by Bill Clinton
Hardcover: 1008 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 2.06 x 9.40 x 6.62
Publisher: Knopf; (June 22, 2004)
ISBN: 0375414576 [amazon]

Book Excerpt from Chapter One
Early on the morning of August 19, 1946, I was born under a clear sky after a violent summer storm to a widowed mother in the Julia Chester Hospital in Hope, a town of about six thousand in southwest Arkansas, thirty-three miles east of the Texas border at Texarkana. My mother named me William Jefferson Blythe III after my father, William Jefferson Blythe Jr., one of nine children of a poor farmer in Sherman, Texas, who died when my father was seventeen. According to his sisters, my father always tried to take care of them, and he grew up to be a handsome, hardworking, fun-loving man. He met my mother at Tri-State Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1943, when she was training to be a nurse.

The Clintons Meet Freud: A Psychohistory of Bill, Hillary And Chelsea
By Paul Lowinger, M. D.
ISBN: 0964261464
Knoll Press, 2004 / $17.95 / 173 pages

This book is for anyone interested in the use of psychological analysis to explain human behavior. The focus is on the Clinton’s but includes a critique of the psychological state of the people in the United States during the Clinton presidency, the decade of the 90’s.

The Clinton’s hidden emotions and secret motivations are exposed in The Clintons Meet Freud by looking at their unconscious minds. Bill’s infancy and childhood, his colorful mother, absent father, alcoholic stepfather and his Arkansas milieu are considered.

Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years
by Rich Lowry [amazon]
Publisher: Regnery Publishing, Inc.; (October 2003)
Bill and Hillary Clinton don't want you to read this book. Bill has spent his days since the presidency aggressively defending his legacy, and Hillary plans to run for president on it, and now, unfortunately for them, Rich Lowry uses sound fact and shocking detail to dispel the myth of the Clinton legacy once and for all.
The Final Days: A Behind the Scenes Look at the Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House
By Barbara Olson [amazon]
Former federal prosecutor Barbara Olson served as the Chief Investigative Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Government Reform and Oversight. She was on American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001.
The media has a near total blackout on the first insider's view of Bill Clinton's impeachment ["Sellout" Hits #7 on N.Y. Times Bestseller List] ... David Schippers, the former Chief Investigative Counsel of the House Judiciary Committee, and a loyal Democrat, went against his party, the press, and public opinion to build a powerful case against the most corrupt President in American history and bring him to justice... [amazon]
"'We're not inflicting pain on these fuckers,' Clinton said, softly at first. 'When people kill us, they should be killed in greater numbers.' Then, with his face reddening, his voice rising, and his fist pounding his thigh, he leaned into Tony [Lake], as if it was his fault. 'I believe in killing people who try to hurt you. And I can't believe we're being pushed around by these two-bit pricks'" . . . [from All Too Human by George Stephanopoulos]
Evans-Pritchard's exposé of Arkansas's favorite son is indeed scathing: he documents the then-governor's drug use and consort with prostitutes (primarily in the company of ne'er-do-well brother Roger); innumerable lies to friends, staff members, and the people who empowered him; numerous infidelities; blackmail--the list goes on and on. ... With an immense sense of sorrow, I have to say I believe that the stories of the "Clinton Body Count" are on the mark. It does appear, at least to this observer, that the man occupying the United States presidency is a murderer. The Secret Life of Bill Clinton : The Unreported Stories by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard
Hitchens is particularly damning on Clinton's tendency to reort to divisive racial politics when it suits his purposes, as when, in the course of the 1992 presidential campaign, he refused to lift a finger to save a mentally retarded African American from state execution so he could appear tough on crime, then shortly afterwards hijacked a Rainbow Coalition conference to criticize rap artist Sister Souljah for the benefit of the attendant press. No One Left To Lie To: The Values of the Worst Family by Christopher Hitchens
The Dysfunctional President : Inside the Mind of Bill Clinton
by Paul Fick, Ph.D. 1995 [amazon] "... the President suffers from a syndrome characteristic of certain Adult Children of Alcoholic parents. This gives him a strong tendency to lie, to be by nature indecisive, to create and thrive on chaos, to deny personal responsibility and indulge in self-destructive behavior." -book review
